《Freestyle:TheArtOfRhyme》，全长75分钟，这部记录片拍摄于2000年，记录了众多地下说唱歌手的Freestyle现场，以及一些经典的Battle视频等，参与拍摄的艺人集合了MosDef，PlanetAsia，Wordsworth，LordFinesse，FreestyleFellowship，PharoaheMonch，Bahamadia，Supernatural等地下说唱歌手，留下了宝贵的资料，其中包括了1968年传奇诗人组合TheLastPoets的演讲片段，Jurassic5的两位制作人DJNu-Nark和DJCutChemist带来的Turntablist表演，还有一些稀有的Freestyle现场视频。《Freestyle:TheArtOfRhyme》在洛山矶地下说唱歌手Otherwize的街头表演下，拉开帷幕，他以一段标准的即兴说唱给Freestyle做了一个定义。更加精彩的来自于1992年拍摄的资料，TheRoots的成员BlackThought在街头的Freestyle，鼓手Questlove嘴中说出一个单词，BlackThought就能根据单词的意思，以精准的压韵，说出完整的句子。随后是Hip-Hop发源地，纽约的SouthBronx地区，70-80年代一些珍贵的说唱镜头，还插拨了一段RunDMC与KoolMoeDee在电视台的Freestyle现场。既然是记录Freestyle的影片，当然少不了即兴说唱大师Supernatural，影片中多次穿插了他的Freestyle和Battle视频，并对他进行了采访。此外，西岸地下说唱歌手的代表PlanetAsia，Otherwize，TheCoup，FreestyleFellowship轮番上演了即兴说唱，还有CraigG和LordFinesse的采访，Wordsworth，MosDef等人的街头即兴时间，DJRevolution与Sway&KingTech举办的“WakeUpShow”节目中，来自芝加哥的说唱歌手Juice在录音棚的Freestyle视频。最后是Battle环节，首先是NotoriousB.I.G.年仅17岁时，在纽约街头与一名同龄孩子Battle，小时侯的他就已经展现出王者风范，在那场街头比赛中，Biggie强大的说唱功力完全释放，以至于和他Battle的对手逃走，而影片在最后也是以Supernatural与Juice精彩绝伦的说唱比赛视频结束。
