钱颖一
钱颖一，男，汉族，1956年4月生，北京人，祖籍浙江，无党派，研究生学历，经济学博士学位，教授。1981年清华大学数学专业本科（提前）毕业。毕业后留学美国，先后获哥伦比亚大学统计学硕士学位、耶鲁大学运筹学/管理科学硕士学位、哈佛大学经济学博士学位。之后任教于斯坦福大学、马里兰大学、加州大学伯克利分校。2006年10月起任清华大学经济管理学院院长。现任全国工商联副主席，清华大学经济管理学院院长，国务院参事室参事。2018年1月，入选清华大学首批文科资深教授。

清华大学经济管理学院院长钱颖一
多年来，教育问题一直是中国社会的焦点问题，很早就引起了钱颖一的关注和思考。丰富的求学经历(清华大学、哥伦比亚大学、耶鲁大学、哈佛大学)和执教经验(斯坦福大学、马里兰大学、伯克利加州大学、清华大学)，让这位经济学家深入了解国内外教育的实际情况，中国教育的问题所在，并积极在一所学院探索教育改革的实践。担任院长8年多来，钱颖一没有再带过一个研究生和博士生，也没有申请过一个研究课题，而是集中精力，在清华大学经济管理学院推进教育改革，履行一个院长的职责。(中华工商时报评）

4、经济观点
虽然中国的改革和转轨受到了一些关注，但对于许多经济学家来说，他们对中国的改革成功不能理解。抛开意识形态不论，中国的成功与已有理论的许多方面相违背。
结构的调整不仅是三方面比例的调整，背后一定有深层次的原因，需要深层次的改革，那就是要调整*与居民，与企业，与市场的关系。这个任务不完成的话，结构调整是非常困难的。（证券时报网快讯中心）
2012年，钱颖一在中国发展高层论坛上发言认为，中国加快经济结构调整，不仅表现在要解决投资过高、消费过低和经济增长过度依赖出口三方面的比例失衡问题，还需要推进深层次的改革。（新华网）

学术荣誉包括计量经济学会（TheEconometricSociety）会士（Fellow）、2009年度孙冶方经济科学奖获得者。研究领域包括比较经济学、制度经济学、转轨经济学、中国经济。在《美国经济评论》（AmericanEconomicReview）、《政治经济学期刊》、《经济学季刊》（QuarterlyJournalofEconomics）、《经济研究评论》（ReviewofEconomicStudies）、《经济研究》等国际国内学术期刊上发表论文多篇。
